There is a lot of effort to make Whistling Straits an even better place to compete.
All on deck for the biggest event of the year for Waukesha Floral & Greenhouse.
“Everything has to be perfect,†said Denise Gehrke.
Waukesha Floral creates Ryder Cup arrangements
The staff at Waukesha Floral look like a busy beehive as they prepare all the flower arrangements for this year’s Ryder Cup at the Whistling Straits Golf Course in County Sheboygan.
“There are a lot of plants, a lot of flowers,†Gehrke said. “We’ve been planning for months. It’s actually an honor. It’s an honor that people all over the world see a little bit of Waukesha in Waukesha Floral.”

And it does not stop there. They say that’s only half of the product they bring to Whistling Straits.
“It’s one thing to be here designing, but to go out there and see it all come together. It’s just a great feeling. Just seeing it all come together was a job. love for everyone here in this building in Waukesha, â€Gehrke said.

Summerfest weekend format continues for 2022, vendors weigh on sales
While Summerfest 2021 was different from previous years, vendors told FOX6 that they are happy to be a part of it and look forward to a summer return in 2022.
