KFC unveils the Kentucky Fried Buckquet, a fried chicken flower bouquet

It all started with the Fried Chicken Log, a unique piece of merchandising that has since become a holiday tradition. Then came the fried chicken body pillow. Now, Kentucky Fried Chicken is celebrating Mother’s Day with the Kentucky Fried Buckquet, a bouquet of flowers with the chain’s signature chicken pieces hidden inside.

It’s no joke or prank, the Buckquet is real – and you’ll soon be able to get it to celebrate Mother’s Day with your loved ones. Anyone who purchases KFC’s new Sides Lovers meal between May 1 and May 3 will receive a promo code for a free Kentucky Fried Buckquet from Proflowers. The bouquet itself comes with a dozen roses, a glass vase with a KFC logo, and eight skewers to put your fried chicken on.

“A regular bouquet of flowers is a good gift for mom, but a Sides Lovers Meal and a Kentucky Fried Buckquet are a great way to kick off Mother’s Day from 10 to 11,” said KFC marketing manager Nick Chavez. in a press. Release. “With three sides, four butter cookies, and the unforgettable – really – fried chicken and floral table decoration, everyone is sure to have something they love to eat, and mom is sure to smile.”

To qualify for the Free Buckquet, you must order the KFC Sides Lovers Meal through the KFC website or mobile app sometime between May 1 and May 3. After that, a promotional code will be emailed to you, which you must redeem at Proflowers by May 5 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

There’s a little caveat: Proflowers doesn’t actually include freshly fried chicken with the order. You will need to order extra chicken yourself to put on the skewers provided by the flower company.
