Florist Educator Gives Back by Providing Florists with a Valentine’s Day Systems Preparation Course on a Donation-Only Basis

The wedding boom of 2021, coupled with labor shortages linked to the pandemic and inclement weather, has caused florists to scramble to find solutions for the number one holiday in flower deals.

Fayetteville, Arkansas: Althea Wiles, Florist Educator for J Althea Creative Consulting, has developed a Valentine’s Day Systems Prep course to help florists this upcoming holiday season. According to Business Insider, California, the largest producer of flowers produced in the United States, experiences droughts, unpredictable rains and fires resulting in an extreme shortage of flowers. Similar circumstances are occurring across the world in flower farms, including labor shortages and other issues related to the pandemic. In an effort to offer support and answers, Wiles will be offering a free webinar for florists, but instead on a donation basis only. Althea Wiles is also the owner and chief designer of Rose of Sharon Floral Design Studio and can give frustrated florists first-hand experience and knowledge. Attendees can register for this webinar here to be held on January 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST.

“There is no judgment if you just need a little help. I went there and got help from very generous people. If you are able to do a little more and feel that this class was worth a little more, your generosity is greatly appreciated. Only you know your situation, ”said Althea Wiles of J Althea Creative Consulting and Rose of Sharon Floral Design Studio.

“It is an extremely overwhelming time for many florists and especially for those who are just starting their careers. The aim of this course is to provide assistance to any florist who might need assistance directly related to how to overcome obstacles in today’s climate and make this Valentine’s season a smooth one for them. floral business owners, ”said Meredith Corning with Meredith Corning RP.
